I arrive there on February 2015, I was a 20 years old and my proppose there
was like ussually learning English for six months. When I decided to study
there even now, some people asked me ‘where is Malta?’ or maybe ‘Is in Italy?’
and how I didn’t know so much about this country I couldn’t said more than what
I seen on the Internet. Nonetheless, in spite of my misunderstanding about this
country I decided to travel, I wanted to scape and from what I saw in the
photos it could be a good possibility, was far from my country, different
languaje and other culture.
My first impression in this place was a time travel to the past, each Street, houses, church in Malta is
a sample of culture, religion , history, definitaly a walk for medieval towns
like fanstasy tale with a medieval knights but it does not mean that is a
boring island, on the contrary, this coutry have a lots of things to offer for
every taste.
This island have two points of view, first this ancient context about prehistoric temples and history. Secondly, the
modern side, luxury apartments, hotels restaurants and night life. Each part of
Malta the modern and tradicional, have many things to show, if you are interested
on relax, you can find amazing beaches besides, time for dance and drink even
you can meet different people from every where. Then if you are the type of
person that prefer to know new cultur or perhaps listen a history of knight, you
can not miss some tour around the capital city Valleta.
The first emblematic stuff that I see and I really liked was the uniques
balconies each one the differents colors, decorate the streets and in my opinion
give a touch of romanticism, I do not think that any tourist in Malta has not
taken a picture there or in the iconics red telephones boxes, than make you
feel in England.
I was excited for all things that I mencioned before
but the best thing, from my perspective was how despite the fact that Malta have
a lot of people from differents sides of the world, is one of the safest countries.
Furthermore, I have to say that for me
Malta is an unbelievable tourist destination although sometimes is underrated maybe
for lack of knowledge about this country for this reason I call this tiny
Island hidden pearl of the Mediterranean.
